Research News is a free biannual newsletter for professionals with an interest in flood and coastal risk management.


It gives the latest news on the work carried out in the Joint Defra / Environment Agency Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management R&D (research and development) Programme.


The programme conducts, manages and promotes flood and coastal erosion risk management research and development.  It is organised by themes which are closely aligned to the operational and policy responsibilities of Defra and the Environment Agency.
